Hi!

I am Sairaj Desai, MS Scholar under Prof.K.Giridhar.

Background:

I did my B.E.ECE in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai. In my undergraduation, I had a design Idea rather than a working model. It aimed at providing an Integrated hardware and software solution for rapidly prototyping high-performance wireless/wired communication systems. I had worked on Programming a Fire Bird V ATMEGA2560 Robot using Atmel Studio 6.0 in the E-yantra national level Robotics competition-2013 organized by IIT Bombay to detect type and order(numbered) of plant to fertilize it. In my internship in the Saankhya Labs, Bangalore in my MS 2nd year, I had worked on reducing the complexity of LLR computation of ATSC 3.0 QAM constellations and had worked on Layer Division Multiplexing (LDM) in ATSC 3.0.

Current Research:

I am currently working in the Likelihood based approaches for modulation Order Classification in MU-MIMO systems. The ML based approach although performs well for all SNR, but at the risk of high complexity. Hence, goal is to reduce complexity with minimal degradation in the BER performance of MU-MIMO systems.

Research Interests:

  • Signal Processing in Wireless Communications
