I am Preethi, MS Research Scholar & Project Associate under Prof. Dr. K. Giridhar. I graduated Bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. Undergone my internship at Khosla Labs, Bangalore for six months and joined IIT Madras as a Project Associate in August 2018, then got admitted to MS research programme.

• In June 2017, published an article entitled "Line Frequency Meter Based on Reciprocal Counting" in Electronics For You , project I did during my In-Plant Training at Industrial Electronics Corporation, Madurai.

Projects

Hardware

• Implementing a system that aims at operator-level spectrum sharing on a FPGA platform which inclues the Application Processing Unit (Cortex A53) and Real-time Processing Unit (Cortex-R5).
• Effectuated the Precision Time Protocol (IEEE 1588) for timing synchronization in real time, as a part of the system, employing R5 processor.
• Working with Intellectual Property (IP), which helps to enact transmitter and receiver signal processing blocks, thus by aiding critical timing required for processing.

Software

• MATLAB execution of signal processing algorithms, vastly working with communication toolbox.
• Hands-on experience in Python, procedural level coding languages like C, and Objective oriented programming.
