Hi!

I am a PhD scholar working in the Electrical Engineering Department at IIT Madras under the guidance of Prof.K. Giridhar. I was awarded the INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, in March 2020.

Background

I am from Trichy,Tamilnadu. I completed my B.E (ECE) from Thiagaragar College of Engineering, Madurai. I have worked on image processing and networking in my undergraduate program. My final year project was with Railtel Corporation of India Limited, Chennai on Secured Enterprise WAN Networks using MPLS VPNs: to introduce a WAN Network with MPLS VPN for Corporation of Chennai.

I completed my M.E (Communication and Networking) from Anna University, MIT Campus, Chrompet. During my post graduation I worked on two projects: Spectrum and traffic-aware routing Protocol for Cognitive Vehicular Adhoc Networks and Classification of Error-Correcting Codes, and Estimation of Interleaver Parameters in Noiseless and Noisy Environment.

I am a University First Rank Holder(2016 - 2018) of my Department and the recipient of a Gold Medal from Anna University for the same.

I worked as a JRF at the Research and Innovation Centre, DRDO, from December 2018 to December 2019. I joined IITM as a Research Scholar in January 2020.

Current Research

My current research focuses on Advanced Frequency Hopping Systems and the Design of Frequency Hopping Sequences. My main objective is to construct orthogonal Frequency-hopping Sequences suitable for FHMA applications with low complexity. I also work on waveform design for custom air-interface systems and strategic applications.
