Dr. Partha Pratim Das
Biography
Partha Pratim Das received the B.Tech. degree from the West Bengal University of Technology in 2012, the M.S. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University in 2024, all in Electrical Engineering.
From 2016 to 2019, he was with the Megawatt Power Team at Delta Electronics India Ltd., Bengaluru, India, where he worked as a Design and Control Engineer on megawatt-scale solar central inverters. During his Ph.D., he also completed internships at ABB Inc. and Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments.
From 2024 to 2025, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the NSF FREEDM Systems Center, North Carolina State University, and from 2025 to 2026, he worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at MPEL, Delta Electronics (Americas) Ltd.
Since July 2026, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
