Meaning: Wisdom lies in keeping it simple for your audience, and grasping all intricacies when others speak.

I am a Doctoral Research Scholar with the Communications, Signal Processing, and Communication Networks group (EE1) of Electrical Engineering Department at IIT-Madras. I work under the guidance of Prof.K.Giridhar on many aspects of Signal Processing for Wireless Communication. I am pursuing my doctoral research under INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP provided by DST, Government of India.

  • Sparse Signal Recovery
  • Array Signal Processing

Research Topic

I am working on Frequency Projection topic to exploit the frequency-dependent correlation between different frequency bands for next-generation wireless communication. The primary motivation here is for next-generation wireless communication; an overlay network may be deployed in conjunction with the existing underlay network. The key idea is to use the knowledge obtained from a lower frequency network to coarse estimate the useful parameters for the operation of a higher frequency network. It reduces the overhead caused by direct evaluation. For example, in a higher frequency network, the cost required for link establishment and operation can be minimized by using prior information obtained from a lower frequency network. This also reduces the hardware constraints of the overlay network, which in turn implements next-generation wireless communication cost-efficient.
